Three-Level Inverter-PMSM Model Predictive Current Control Based on the Extended Control Set

In the neutral point clamped (NPC) three-level inverter-permanent magnet synchronous motor system, traditional model predictive current control (MPCC) uses system to traverse 27 basic voltage vectors, achieve d-q axis component and of multi-objective optimal control. Finite set predicts state change target at future moments based on a finite number switching states inverter. The principle this method is simple easy implement, but effectiveness strategy limited because only one vector can be selected as optimum output per period. paper, an extended (ECS-MPCC) proposed, which improve performance by extending select multiple vectors in single period compared strategy. addition, address disadvantage virtual space leading increase computation, paper proposes fast search for region reduction. proposed avoids optimization process traversing all thus enabling vector. experimental results show that has good steady-state dynamic performance.
